The continuous improvement of production processes and the growing complexity of technical solutions in the design and manufacturing of industrial equipment, as well as components of mobile machinery, are raising the standards for lubricants, including greases that can perform under higher loads and elevated operating temperatures.

In response, more advanced materials, particularly lithium-complex greases, are gradually replacing simple lithium EP greases. These lithium-complex greases are capable of withstanding higher operational loads and temperatures compared to those made with a 12-hydroxystearate lithium thickener.

The most common lithium complex greases use base oils with viscosity grades from VG 150 to VG 220, along with specialized anti-wear EP additives that enhance the oil’s protective properties. The standard consistency for these greases is NLGI 2, with operating temperatures typically ranging from -30°C and above.

To meet these demands, we have added HARTOL Lithoplex Blue EP 2, a lithium-complex grease, to our product line.
