Some modern diesel engines in the Euro 5 and Euro 6 emissions categories require special low-SAPS engine oils with very low sulfated ash content. Using such oils ensures the long-lasting operation of a vehicle’s particulate filters.

HARTOL SELECT R SAE 5W-30 meets the latest ACEA C4, Renault RN0720, and MB 229.51/226.51 specifications. It is particularly suited for vehicles equipped with modern three-way catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters.

The oil may not be suitable for use in some engines, so the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations should always be consulted.
